Fraternity and Sorority Life

Welcome to Fraternity and Sorority Life

Greek life has played an important role for undergraduate students for over 100 years at Washington University in St. Louis. Approximately 2,000 students are members of Greek organizations, making up 35% of the undergraduate population. We currently have 19 chapters, 11 fraternities and 8 sororities. Each sorority has a living room-style suite located in the Women's Building, while 9 of our fraternities reside in University-owned houses.

Fraternities and Sororities are supported through the staff within Student Involvement and Leadership, located in Danforth University Center Room 250.

Please look through our new website to find out more about our community and contact any of our staff members if you have any questions!
